Nice to Meet mu! This R/C model assembly kit creates Isuzu’s mu SUV, which was first announced by the Japanese manufacturer in 1989, while the line was given a boost in December 1994 with the release of the Type X, which featured a powerful 3.1-liter diesel turbo engine. The 2-door hatchback body is recreated by a ABS molded body with superb detail across the board, including a fine depiction of the front grille. Metal-plated parts are included to depict side mirrors, side steps, bumpers and more. Matte plated wheels are paired with rubber tires for great looks, and performance to match.

 

The All-Terrain CC-01 Chassis The CC-01’s highly reliable and efficient full-time 4WD system features a longitudinally-positioned motor, which transmits power to the front wheels via the gearbox and to the rear wheels via propeller shaft with universal joints. Front and rear differentials enable smooth cornering, and for even greater off-road performance on rough terrain, the rear differential may be locked during assembly. The chassis suspension employs double-wishbone front upper single links and lower H-shaped arms plus rear rigid suspension. With 4 CVA oil dampers in total fitted to the front and rear, there’s enough cushion to take on even the roughest surfaces.
